Prof.Dzintra Iliško
Dzintra Iliško is a professor at Daugavpils University, Institute of Humanities and social sciences, Centre of Sustainable Education. Her filed of expertise are education for sustainable development, teacher education and gender issues. She was an invited keynote speaker in Turkey, Italy, Lithuania and South Africa. She is an active participant in numerous projects, like NORDLUS TEN IP program “Innovative an Sustainable Aesthetic Methods for Citizenship Education: Nordic and Baltic Perspectives”, Erasmus+ project “Innovation and transformation in education” KA201 –Strategic Partnerships for school education”, Erasmus+ project: “MetESD – Methods for ESD – competencies and curricula”. She is a coordinator of intensive BIP projects, like Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Competence Development of Future Teachers for Sustainability and Cultural Literacy” in 2023.
She is active member of international networks and organizations: ISREV – International Seminar on Religious Education and Values, ESWTR-European Society of Women in Theological Research. She is a Chief Editor of the Journal: “Discourse and Communication for Sustainable Education” and an editorial member of international peer reviewed journals, like Journal of Lifelong Learning, Globalization and Business and active participant in science research programs, like: “Academic integrity in social sciences: situation evaluation and developmental perspectives in Latvian regional HEIs”.
