She is a Lecturer in Maths Education at King’s Foundation, King’s College London, where she teaches Maths for Business and Economics and leads curriculum and assessment design for a new transnational maths and data analytics module. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of London and spent over a decade teaching economics, econometrics, and quantitative methods across some of London’s most international classrooms, at Queen Mary University of London and Coventry University – an experience that convinced her most “student voice” initiatives rarely let students see the difference their voice made. She built the SHARP Assessment Cycle (Strategic, Holistic, Adaptive, Reflective, Process), an original framework for real-time student voice in assessment, to close that gap. This has now been piloted across mathematics, economics, and national security studies modules at King’s. Her research also centres on co-creative and inclusive assessment design, student belonging, and the use of generative AI in quantitative disciplines.
