Dr. Mireille Riachi

Dr. Mireille Riachi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at the University of Balamand, Lebanon, specializing in curriculum development, teaching methodology, and assessment. She holds a PhD in Education from Université de Paris III–Sorbonne Nouvelle (France) in 2007, with a thesis on classroom interactions in French language teaching in Lebanon. With over 13 years of academic experience, she has supervised numerous master’s theses, developed academic programs, and delivered workshops on differentiated instruction, competency-based assessment, and innovative teaching strategies. Her research interests include digital mind mapping, artificial intelligence in education, and teachers’ evaluative practices, with publications in international journals and presentations at global conferences. Dr. Riachi is also a certified DELF examiner and an active member of international associations such as ADMEE and FIPF. She has been recognized for her contributions to teacher training and educational development across Lebanon.
